The Glitch Guys understand that far too often people are getting onto the Information Super Highway before they know how to drive, and while not physically injuring anyone, they may cause some undesired results. These negative results may include Identity theft, system problems and crashes. * New Computer Setup and Data Transfer - Many new PC's are now loaded with Vista. When hooking up a new Vista machine to any of ComSouth’s technologies, all you need to do is wait until Vista has found the network. There is no need to setup any dialer or put in any user name or password.

* Wireless and Router Security setup - Some of today’s Virus protection products have “Firewall†protection included. The Glitch Guys recommend steering clear of these and believe that hardware firewalls or routers really offer the level of protection you need and are relatively inexpensive. The Glitch Guys look at software firewall solutions like a dead bolt on the door to your home, and a hardware firewall like a ten-foot fence in your front yard. Let The Glitch Guys install your router the right way, please give us a call and we will give you a price quote. In many cases we can show you how to hook up more devices than just PC's. The Nintendo Wii, Xbox, Playstation, PSP, and other devices can hook up to your wireless router if configured correctly.
* Virus and/or Spyware removal and protection - There is no reason to be on the Internet without protection. As of 2002 there were 71,000 known viruses and that number has been growing at a rate of 3 per day. Many virus protection software applications also include protection from the growing problem known as spyware. The Glitch Guys are experienced in working with many virus protection applications.
* Program installation and Windows Updates - Even a brand new machine needs a large number of updates. If you are upgrading from Dial-up, there is no way you could get many of these critical updates. Before surfing, at the very least, install the recommended windows updates.
